OUR STORY
1st Generation Family Farm
We are the Morris family, Michael, Madison & Ezekiel. We live on ten acres in the beautiful Tennessee countryside. Moving out of Nashville and 100 miles west in 2016, we fell in love with this land and way of life. We have been on the adventure of learning to grow our own food, raise our own meat and all things in between ever since!
ABOUT PSALM 24 HOMESTEAD
We originally began the journey of homesteading to have a small family farm for ourselves, grow our own food and learn skills that would enrich our lives. However, as we see the need for food security and community connection around us increasing, we are excited to meet that need with our pasture-raised poultry.
Eating top quality food is what fuels our homesteading efforts, and as the saying goes, "you are what your food eats". With this in mind, we are farming on a small scale with an emphasis on soil health, because healthy soil = healthy pastures = nutrient-rich meat and eggs.
We care about the families we feed with the food we grow. That is why our birds are always foraging on fresh green pasture, with all the worms and bugs they can find, supplemented with free choice non-GMO, corn/soy-free feed. Our farm is run organically, we do not use any sprays on food produced in our garden or our fields. Likewise, our chickens do not receive any type of antibiotic treatment or added hormones.
100% ORGANIC, PASTURE RAISED & GMO FREE
Aside from pastured poultry, here on the homestead we also offer seasonal products such as eggs, blueberries, and cut flowers from our family garden.
